Miss D who worked the reception when we checked in was phenomenal - friendly, professional, helpful, patient, welcoming. The general manager was equally great and our stay could not have been better.
Pros. Breakfast was convenient. Check in was quick. Ample parking. Room was nice & cool during hot July 4th weekend.
Cons. Shower curtain & furniture were obviously worn. Hot tub was empty. Could have been cleaner. Front desk staff was seen smoking outside front entrance.

Pros. Room is spacious and clean. Everything worked. Housekeeping keeps the place looking pristine. Would recommend to anyone staying in Hampton Roads. Easy freeway access to the surrounding areas.
Cons. The windows don't open in the room. For those times fresh air is available without the humidity, I would have liked to crack the window. No where in the hotel did I see markings for an AED cardiac defibrillator. Staff I talked to said that they are encouraged to call local EMS. There is a gym, work out area that does not appear to have cameras for monitoring people. Having an AED would be a great addition to that area.
