Pros. One staff member was pleasant
Cons. Two staff members were unpleasant, the room was tiny and disgusting. The carpets were filthy, there were bugs, the sheets were not clean and there was grit or crumbs in the bed. Paint was peeling off the walls, the TV barely worked and did not have the channels described, the WiFi did not work, the shower curtain was stained and moldy, the window curtain was covered in holes that let hundreds of bright light beams stream into the room first thing in the morning, the toilet did not flush all the way leaving feces floating in the bowl, the towels were extremely thin, scratch and somewhat stained, there was no bathmat, the freezer was almost a solid block of ice and the air conditioner smelled of mildew. It was horrible.
Pros. Maybe the location.
Cons. The people were rude and not at all helpful: "You don't need to know our names, whoever is at this front desk will help you". The room: no bathroom soap (of course this was probably on purpose because the shower had no soap dish, tray, ledge or anything else: had to use the floor), dirty, and nothing worked well.
Pros. The bed was comfortable, everything seemed exactly what was expected of a 2/5 rated place
Cons. I didn't like that one of the desk guys working there mis used my information and CALLED my personal cell phone to ask if I wanted to meet up and wanted to talk to me when I was alone. He called multiple times and harassed me in the same conduct. A police report is being made, definite creep.
Cons. Fridge didn't work and no chain type lock for the door
Pros. I enjoyed the transients walking through the parking lot at midnight. Along with the scary movie atmosphere of the hotel. Oh, and the smell. I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car.
Cons. About $65 over priced. You can't fit in the shower if unless you're a contortionist. Seriously, the worst place I've ever stayed in my life. Spend the money, stay at Oxford.
