Hostel Fish is a new type of accommodation located in the heart of Denver. This hostel was designed with travelers in mind, offering complimentary iPads along with hotel-wide WiFi for all guests and charging stations at every single bed. There are a limited number of private guest rooms at this property, which also offers a 24-hour front desk.

There is a concierge to assist guests with local events and activities, and the hostel can arrange a number of communal tours and pub crawls for guests. There is a lounge, bar, and kitchen in the communal area for guest use and daily housekeeping is provided. Pros:Relatively cheap (I stayed two nights for ~$60 a night), lots of cool restaurants in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend for people traveling on a budget who want to stay downtown, but don’t want to shell out $100 or more per night for a bunch of niceties you don’t need. Communal bathrooms at the end of each floor, a bar to hang out in by the front desk, and functional bunk rooms. Lockers for your valuables, and the front desk will gladly rent you a lock for $3 if you forgot one. If you’re looking for good food late at night, you should definitely check out Biker Jim’s Gourmet Dogs! Delicious and cheap, and only like a block away.
Cons:It didn’t bother me much, but the venue downstairs is quite loud. I could see the bass bothering light sleepers, but fortunately I sleep like the dead. Not a problem for me.

Pros:Comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, friendly, helpful staff and patrons, quirky and interesting decor. My wife and I stayed in a private room and would definitely return here if we find ourselves in Denver again.
Cons:People moving about at night were a little noisey, but once the thermostat fan kicked on i didn't notice it anymore and fell asleep.

Pros:This was my first time a.) visiting Denver and b.) staying in a hostel and c.) I could not have liked it any more than I did! The staff was helpful and welcoming, the decor and ambiance is unique and inspiring, and the connections you make with the other guests are electric! I could not have had a better first exposure to staying at a hostel. The location of Hostel Fish is also perfect - in Lower Downtown (LoDo) right near the Coors Field so there are a ton of cool bars to check out (like The Retro Room and Sidecar) or great places to eat (Ignite Burger and you'll definitely want to check out brunch and boozey breakfast cocktails at Snooze). Or if you feel so inclined to stay in, there's a small kitchen and bar in the hostel (with decent prices) so you don't even have to take off your pjs! I highly recommend staying at Hostel Fish for your Denver travels.

Pros:This is by far the nicest hostel I have ever slept in, down comforters and soft sheets were a real bonus. Very friendly staff and patrons. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Denver
