Pros. Goof buffet breakfast, best Kosher steak we've ever had
Cons. It's obvious that soundproofing wasn't a consideration when the hotel was designed and built, so the there were loud noises from adjoining rooms and the floor above, shower had either mold or mildew. Many cooked items on the breakfast and dinner buffets looked good, but had no flavor, indicating to me that they may have been cooked too far in advance of serving.
Pros. The manager was amazing able to accommodate us after I booked the executive suites by mistake for my kids. The beach is the best and most comfortable one on the Dead Sea. The hotel has many pools, and is very spacious. The kids club has many options for entertainment. The hotel is clean.
Cons. The spa treatment rooms are very cold. I left without finishing my last treatment because I was so uncomfortable. The beds are on the hard side unlike other 5 star hotels I stay. There is no heating in the rooms, so was cold at night. No option for people who need a low soft pillow to sleep. Before leaving the beach we were told by concierge they have towels at the lifeguard booth. So after we do the mud and wash ourselves at the Dead Sea, we found no towels. He said they never keep towels there. luckily, we bargained with the lifeguard and exchanged two towels for a little flirting offering my nanny as a date (made NO sense but We needed towels for the kids).
Pros. He Hotel is very fancy, new and stylish.
Cons. Unfortunately, looks are deceiving. The bottom of the pool is covered with black mold. I personally removed one cockroach from my dinner plate and a maggot from my orange juice. Staff is clueless and undertrained, the hotel does not have direct access to the water (other hotels do), and they nickel and dime everything, from Internet use to use of a baby crib. This place is not worth the money and is dangerous.
