Pros:Gave me a bigger car than I reserved. I was happy with the extra space.Cons:I was late to my pickup and they called me telling me that my suv was ‘first come first serve basis’ that there was someone in the lobby needing an suv. So if you didn’t have enough cars available then why allow us to rent that specific vehicle size? It’s called a reservation for a reason. Pros:Absolutely nothing. Staff (the ONE guy that was there, named Dan, at the downtown Everett location, was verbally abusive to me, then told me to leave and refused to rent me a vehicle. That was on June 20. On June 24, despite being REFUSED SERVICE, Hertz took $375.33 out of my account anyway. Weird.Cons:Evidently Dan is not only abusive, but a liar, and reported that he gave me a vehicle, even though he did not. I’ve tried twice to call, but no humans are available at customer service. I will never rent from Hertz, or purchase a rental from ANY third party again.Reviewed Jun 26 2019

Cons:I reserved a compact car and was given a full sized king cab pickup truck. Hertz said I could exchange it the next day (a total inconvenience) for a compact car. When I returned all they had was a Toyota 4Runner SUV that wasn’t very clean and had an empty fuel tank. Avery frustrating experience.Reviewed Jun 20 2019

Pros:Staff were appropriately friendly and professional.Cons:The location downtown is not very convenient to the airport. It is about 20-25 minutes away. The Hertz people do not have a shuttle (yet) so they called us a LYFT and paid for it. The airport has only been open as a public airport for ~1.5 months, so the rental car systems are not quite in place.Reviewed May 13 2019

Pros:This was literally the worst experience of my life. Starting with the staff not being friendly at all and providing 0 customer services. The plastic under the tire near the passenger seat completely came off less than half away to our destination.We spent a total of 2 hours of waiting for tow truck.Cons:Better customer services, and reliable vehicles . Pros:Price was competitive.Cons:If you fly into Everett Airport (Paine Field), they do not have a shuttle service to pick you up at the airport. While they did offer to have a Lift driver take me to the Hertz office in Everett, it is about a 15-minute drive away. If you are returning before they are open, good luck!Reviewed Apr 8 2019

Pros:NothingCons:Hertz called the morning of our trip to tell me I needed to pick up the car an hour prior to scheduled pick up. When I informed them this was not possible, they attempted to rebook, at a fee difference of 400.00. They were unwilling to help move the reservation without charging extra fees and ultimately I ended up canceling after nearly an hour on the phone with no solution.
