The facility is luxurious, but I was expecting Ritz Carlton to be pampering for all, not just those with qualifying elite status. For such a name and price, one would expect more than just free water and coffee in the room (how about a small wine bottle or fruit bowl), and afternoon lounge for all?

Pros:We stayed in the most expensive room with a Marina view. The view was nice but the room was old and outdated. Quality furnishings, but old and worn. The public areas are beautiful. Walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors loud and clear. Not worth the price, the room doesn’t have that extravagant/indulgent feeling you want when you’re paying that much.

Cons:I booked this hotel because they had balconies and it was near the water. The balcony was closed due to renovations. The bath tub was small , hotel was a little outdated. Not as special as a experience as I was hoping for

Pros:Staff is great, and generally a very nice hotel.
Cons:Doesn't live up to our expectations based on previous experiences at other Ritz hotels. It feels tired, not as luxurious as others, and is starting to show some age without upkeep. A simple example would be the pool has cracked tiles and feels rundown.

Cons:For a younger crowd in there 25-30 age it's not an appeasing hotel it's more for older crowd like 50-60 so for me being a pro Olympic athlete and being 23 yrs old I didn't enjoy it that much

Pros:I can't begin to find words to express how much we enjoyed our stay at the Marina del Rey Ritz Carlton! We arrived on a Wednesday morning with a sick child. The staff immediately took charge helping to get us situated with a room and going so far above and beyond ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. From the person who greeted us to take our luggage, to the valet, to the front desk staff to the wait staff in the restaurant and the gift shop (which opened up for us to get us meds in the middle of the night) to the manager who followed up even after we had left their hotel, every layer was kind, attentive and fantastic! They honestly made us feel like we were at home with family who was concerned about us. What a fantastic experience! T
