When we arrived the hotel had over booked and didn’t have a room for us even though we had prepaid the month before. We had to scramble to find a room on our own. We were told it was Kayaks fault for over booking. We did receive a total refund but are extremely disappointed on the lack of customer service and support that show to us.
The front desk staff were incredibly pleasant. The size of the suite (kitchenette, bathroom, bedroom, and living room) for $170 a night was a good deal for the summer. It made it a lot less stressful to have two rooms for our young children. I'd definitely stay here again.
Pros:Loved staff, pool/hot tub, having a full kitchen, location, short walk to beach, beach towels included, linens and towels included. Discount tickets available through resort for waterpark and aquarium. Activities scheduled including crafts and van trips.
Cons:No balcony or patio to sit outside
Pros:The modern kitchen, bathroom size, comfortable bed in the bedroom, and kitchen supplies
Cons:The towel exchange rule. We didn't know about it until it was too late. Plus we arrived on a wed and needed new linen by Fri. The rule prevented a challenge and the person working was not accommodating. There is not a place to relax on the property. A nice green space helps as well as balconies.
