Pros:The desk was staffed well and they were attentive and cordial and went through paperwork real quick and the attendants directed me to the cars I could pick from and I got a one class upgrade and it was clean and ran smooth. Upon return the attendant was courteous, did quick work of return and the shuttle was waiting right next to it. Shuttle driver is cordial and Also reminded passengers to check for their belongings. It was good and quick transactions. I have had rentals with several other agencies in the recent weeks due to my travels to Chicago and my experience with Alamo/National is the best and I greatly recommend it.- VJ
Cons:I was unable to rent the car. I made the reservation via debit card. The morning of the rental, the counter clerk informed me that I could not rent the car without a credit card. The travel website through which I booked the reservation should have been more clear about this policy.
Pros:The staff down in the garage was very friendly & informative :) explained that I would be better off with upgrading to I-pass for tolls , & they were correct
Cons:The lady at the front desk was a bit impatient with me & didn’t provide much explanation of anything

Cons:Hours of operation in New York City could be better. They are pretty limited, and they make drop-off more difficult. Otherwise, good overall experience.
Cons:We had to wait for 1.5 hours in the garage for our car to be ready.
Pros:The car rental area at the Airport was not as easy to navigate as I would have liked. Most counters were closed at 10pm (on a Saturday night), so I had to search for the only open area. Then there was about a 30 minute wait because only 2 people were working at the time. They did a great job, but again there was only 2 people for about 6 different car rental companies.
Cons:More open counters, looking after their own rental companies!
