Professional and kind customer service. Super clean cars. And a great price! I may become a preferred loyal member just because of the great experience I had. The last time I was in LA I rented a car from a DIFFERENT company. Terrible car! Terrible service. I was hesitant to rent a car again in LA for that reason. I’ll stick to Avis!
Cons:Pick up was a disaster. When I went to pick up the car at my scheduled time, I found the entire pick up location was closed down. I had just booked the car two days before, and should have been notified that this location was closed. The Call Center was completely unhelpful, and I was disconnected three times, leaving me to explain the situation to three different representatives. I was put on hold for ten minutes to talk to a supervisor, who had no authority to do anything. I had to take a taxi to a different location who wanted to charge me three times the original price to rent the car. Bad experience!
Great
The car was filthy when I picked it up. The key was also dead the whole time.
The car was dirty outside, had no washer fluid and the fuel tank was not completely full on pick up, however it was the vehicle ordered (whereas on 2 previous car rentals the chosen vehicle was not available - not through Avis).
