Pros. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and the bathroom was large and clean.
Cons. The pictures of this hotel and the rooms that are shown on the website are NOT reflective of what this hotel looks like now. It is very deceptive. I would have NEVER made reservations if I would have known the real situation. This hotel looks the same at the pictures from the front but you can't actually see the rooms until you drive around to the side. The building and the walkways were dirty as well as the doors. The air conditioner covers were falling off and all of this was before we even got in the room. Once we opened the door the smell of wet dog was overpowering. Only one lamp worked and the chair and ottoman were filthy. Really filthy. The floor was clean and the bathroom was large and clean. Also, this property backs up to a wooded area and for a Mom and daughter traveling by themselves we did not feel safe.
Pros. When I made the reservation, the location and price were appealing. It when we got there, we were less than impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the motel.
Cons. The place was seriously dated, we could feel every coil in the mattress, the bath towels were more like hand towels, we had no wash clothes, the AC was turned down to 65 and it was still in the mid to upper 70's in the room. It just didn't feel clean, wasn't comfortable. Then when my husband went to get breakfast at 8:45 (breakfast is from 6-9) they had already put 90% of the food away. The front desk people had no use for us being there. All in all, it was not an enjoyable stay. We will not be returning.
Pros. My husband and I had a business meeting on Saturday and we really just needed a reasonable place to stay. The website pictures showed this to be newly renovated motel. It was a fairly nice room, however the bathroom sink didn't appear very clean and it looked to have a leak in the ceiling. The best thing we could say about this place was the friendly staff. However there was a slight mix up with our room. Thankfully the door latch kept us from entering in our room successfully. We weren't mad at all about the mix up just a little started to be walking in on someone sleeping. But the staff was very apologetic and nice and we were as well. Everyone makes mistakes and it was completely fine. We were just thankful nobody was harmed. At the end of our stay we were disappointed that there wasn't any bananas, yogurt and oatmeal left at 8am at the continental breakfast.
