Pros:The car was the make and model that I rented rather than the normal "oh, you rented a Ford Fusion, but we're going to give you a Chevy Spark because they're the same 'class'," nonsense.
Cons:It took 90 minutes to pick up the car. All the other rental places at Logan Airport had 2-4 person lines. The Budget desk had a line of at least 100 people... and it took 90 minutes from the time we arrived to pick up the car until we had completed the transaction. During those 90 minutes, the clock struck midnight and because I picked up the car "a day late" (note, I was in the line well before midnight), the price changed from $300 to $1,300 for the rental... requiring 5ish minutes of negotiations, supervisor overrides, etc. Finally, the EZPass that came with the car (Massachusetts is an electronic toll only state) had zero balance. I'm wondering if I'll be charged with a bunch of toll evasion tickets.
Pros:Good car, good service
Cons:Drop-off location had moved so location on email was wrong.
Pros:Our counter agent was very friendly and helpful. She made some suggestions to help improve our 3-week reservation. The car was great and we had zero issues.
Pros:Car was super new, had wonderful features (lane assist, etc.)
Staff did not have our vehicle ready upon pick up which delayed us by 45 minutes. Very unorganized. The correct vehicle was not in the designated customer pick-up parking space.
Cons:At a time where car rental in such a painful experience the staff at BOS budget went beyond the call of duty!
Cons:Very inconvenient location, not near airport, GPS worked poorly in downtown Boston so the rental location was hard to get to.
Pros:The car was everything we expected. Good Value.
Pros:Once on the road the emergency light went plus oil light I didn't go off. then when we check the car we noticed all the tires were balled - they shouldn't have been o the car. We complained when we got back - they said they would reduce the bill by $75.000, but with some reluctance. I haven't seen it yet. The car shoudlnt' not have been on the road. No one checked the car before we left. We were only renting for 2 days and I didn't have time to replace car - with such a short time on the road and a busy schedule. Very inconvenient.
