Everything was fine. It was quite inconvenient that both spouses had to be present for both to be able to drive the vehicle; I’m sure there’s a good reason, but not everywhere has this requirement, so we’ll probably go back to rental services at CMI airport next time. Had to rearrange our whole afternoon last minute and bring our too-young-to-mask-or-vaccinate child in to the building. Drop off would have been better with a prior heads up or better signage regarding leaving the mileage report in the car; I put the keys in the box, then read that I was supposed to put the paperwork in the (locked) car. The car worked out great. Thanks.

Pros:

They allowed me to book and didn’t have any cars available. They called me 20 minutes before I was supposed to go pick it up asking me to wait until the next day to MAYBE get a car . I just flown into Champaign and I was left stranded

Cons:

The organization and the staff . It was a terrible experience never again

Pros:

the car was under powered an it effected the mileage a lot resulting in me spending more money in fuel

Cons:

I could have gotten a better car the had better power and when I picked up the car the fuel tank was not full I had to fill it

Cons:

My rental was fast and trouble free. I thought Hertz was very organized and quick check in and out. Vehicle was new and clean, I didn’t have the same experience with Enterprise on my last rental. The rental rate was the lowest rate I could find.

My experience using Enterprise was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also noticed a screw in the tire during the vehicle pre-inspection. This saved me many troubles on the trip had I experienced the flat during the trip, and it also led to a free upgrade to a nicer vehicle since they didn't have another comparable vehicle on the lot.

They did not have the car we reserved available. We had reserved it for $81. They wanted to rent us an SUV for $450. Said they could not negotiate the price, we canceled the reservation. Did not rent the car, had to find one somewhere else because we could not pay $450.

Pros:

Staff were very friendly and professional. I had to wait a bit, but they were very courteous. I didn’t especially care for the fact that when I got my rental, it had only about 1/4 tank of gas. I forgot that and filled it up before I dropped it off.

Cons:

Nothing besides gas fill up.

Avis gentleman at pick up was extremely helpful and cheerful. He came across as being very professional in his work. One of the issues I had was the inability to charge my Android phone as there were no USB ports (all I could see were Apple charger ports). As a result my phone had died and I lost my GPS to find my way back to the Hamilton Airport. I ended up taking a number of wrong ways but eventually made it to the airport but had no time to refill the fuel, so regrettably I will be charged a premium for the field I used. My recommendation is to equip the car with at least an adapter for the cigarette lighter slot to accommodate either Android phone ports or a USB port IF for some reason there were these boards they are not easily identified nor found as I have searched when I finally got to the airport and could not find any to suit my connection

Service representative was the least helpful person I've ever had at any rental car company. Pickup document showed full gas tank but was actually one quarter full. Luckily I took a photo before I drove off with the odometer and fuel tank level. When dropping off, told the same rep about the tank and he asked me to take a photo of the odometer and fuel gauge. The representative also had a proper conversation with a prior customer who is likely from the same geographic region as himself but did not provide that same level of service to me. I don't need to be pampered, I'm just saying bare minimum service levels need to be had with everyone. Gave avis a try but won't be renting with avis again after this experience.

Car had soft tire. You could tell there had been previous problem because valve stem cap was missing. After refilling it with air twice, I had to take it to a tire shop in Stevensville and wait for them to fix it. They found a screw in the tire. When I returned the car I told the clerk that I should receive some kind of discount and she said I would have to talk to the manager. I was flying out so it’s my loss. AVIS NO MORE !!!!!

Good location, easy check pick up and drop off Nice car but cleanliness of vehicle inside was poor (stains, smell and debris). The vehicle was quickly vacuumed but still exhibited a smell and stains

The agent wasn’t there when we arrived and was not friendly when he arrive 30-45 minutes late. The car was scratched up and did not look like it had been cleaned. The car did drive perfectly

Simple pick up and drop off process. Online pre check was also handy. Helpful staff, including on the phone when I called to reschedule pick up time. The vehicle was clean, comfortable. Took some time to get used to driving it, seemed to take some time to get into gear and accelerate from a stop. Some shaky acceleration.
