I was not aware that this was a motel, not a hotel. The doors were on the outside, and the hotel was in bad shape and poor state of repair. The exterior was deteriorating, and the interior was in worse shape. The carpet was gross, the rooms were dirty, the bathrooms were small, and the furniture was in bad shape. The linens were clean, and you could tell that it had been purchased by Hampton/Hilton and spitshined. But it was not the caliber room I have come to expect from the Hilton family of hotels. I would not book this hotel again, but for convenience of location near the Dalton Convention Center and availability, it’s what we had. The Super 8 motels on both sides of the interstate there looked nicer!
Pros. Location good. Breakfast service good.
Cons. Bed uncomfortable. A/C very noisy.
