Pros. It was in the heart of the Old Quarter. Staff was friendly and wanted to help.
Cons. The room looked like the Bates motel. Very empty with really no amenities. Towels had stains on them and the bathrooms were so old, outdated and dirty, I was afraid my feet would contract hepatitis. There was also a lot of mosquitos in the room, due to the ventalation window in the bathroom that also allowed plenty of exterior noise into the room at all hours of the night. Not sure how they managed a 3 star rating. I've been traveling in Vietnam for a month, staying at 3 star hotels between 20-35$ USD - this was by far the worst.
