Pros:We arrived at the Hertz location at DFW only to be told that we were at the wrong facility. We traveled to the 2909 Forest lane Facility to find the location was closed. When making the reservation, I was very clear that we were picking up the vehicle at DFW airport location, regardless we were not accommodated. When the Hertz staff finally arrived, they did not the have the pickup truck I reserved, they provided a sub compact suv. Upon returning the vehicle to the 2909 Forest lane location, they were closed with NO drop box, or any other method to secure the returned vehicle. Upon calling the Hertz reservation desk, I was told by Mark the employee, to return the vehicle to DFW and there would be no additional charges, now I am being charged a alternative dropoff fee with no method to resolve the issue. I was told, "It is your responsibility to know the requirements for drop off"?!? At no time during the pickup of the vehicle was there any mention of returning the vehicle on Sunday.
Cons:This is so out in left field, I am not sure what to say. I do know that when calling asking Hertz, asking what to do with the car, I was not speaking to a person in the United States. Two things, there was no understanding of the situation and no empathy, at all, none.
