Pros. Good location across from Carrefour, Decathlon & other shopping, cafés and even a good vegetarian restaurant nearby, a few street to the tram. Tiny kitchen in the suite was clean and easy to use. Large lobby with toy box for toddlers. Pool was not open during our stay. Courtyard faced other rooms and a residential apartment building. Fairly quiet.
Cons. Staff were hit and miss. A number of super nice young women, calm and reasonable, and then we had one unpleasant encounter with a person at the desk who said housekeeping would not clean up a glass bottle I had dropped and broken, and that we would be charged a cleaning fee if I insisted. Very poor customer service in any case, but especially off-putting considering we were 4-week guests and were told one complete cleaning per week was included, although we didn’t take them up on that — only had 2 cleanings our entire stay and that was enough for us as we’re pretty neat people. Desk staff at the following shift were happy to send housekeeping up and didn’t apologize for the earlier employee, but did express bewilderment. So we felt a little better.
