Pros. N/a We didn’t eat Breakfast.
Cons. Having a little more in the vending machine.. lol
Pros. The staff were all helpful, sweet and anything we asked for (Xtra coffee, conditioner, towels) were provided no problem. Very clean and smelled clean too. The continental breakfast was upgraded with make your own waffles, The location was perfect for our impromptu visit....just a few miles from all "attractions" FDR State Park, Callaway Gardens and The Animal Safari. The ac/heat worked wonderfully. All appliances were newish and worked fine. Decent flat screen TV and WIFI (WIFI is slow but not hotels fault....it's the area)
Cons. This little hotel is in need of a face lift. Other then that no complaints.
Pros. Refrig and microwave in rooms.
Cons. Breakfast was very minimal. Internet was not working most of the time.
Pros. The price
Cons. I was first greeted by a man whom I clearly woke up wear jeans and a wife beater....I should have just left at that point. Then when I entered my room, the room smelled like mold The top of the dresser was rough and I wasn't sure if the varnish or paint had just been exposed to heat or if it was another substance There were stains on the lamp shads and most wouldn't turn on The comforter was old, very old, and when I pulled it off the bed, it had stains underneath The blanket was thin, like a 1970's blanket made of felt The sheets had rips and holes and were they didn't have holes, it was just a matter of time (possible because of the amount of bleach and age) On the vanity just outside the bathroom, then rim on the side and across the back was covered in hair, as if someone with coarse hair had just shaved and it was never cleaned I didn't even attempt to enter the bathroom The person who checked me in quite honestly turned me off that I went to my family that was staying at Calloway Gardens and asked if anyone would let me sleep on the floor and didn't even spend 1 night The next morning when I contacted booking.com to tell them and cancel the rest of my reservation, they sent the request to the hotel. I then received a call from the hotel, which I missed. Booking.com asked me to go formerly check-out, and when I did, I was greeted by a very rude Hispanic lady, who would not give me her name, She yelled at me and told me that I (me the customer) was being disrespectful to the hotel. That I should have contacted them first. I really felt like the guy in the wife beater was really going to be helpful, and really, would any other room be different (maybe minus the hair on the vanity). Booking.com was very helpful. But the hotel staff leave a lot to be desired and the Hispanic lady who continued to scream at me and kicked me out refusing to officially check me out should not be allowed to speak with customers.
