Pros. Across the street from the beach. It makes it easy to have a beach day with out worrying about logistics. Just make a right out the door and cross the street. There is no Ocean view though. But you won't need one because you're so close. The staff is very friendly.
Cons. They tacked on a service fee on check-in. The price they advertise on booking sites are false. I understand that most hotels have check-in at 3 pm. But most will still try to get you a room as soon as possible. Oceano Copacabana literally didn't give me a room until 3 pm. The wait seemed more for company policy rather than for cleaning. The staff did their best to make me comfortable during the wait.
