Pros. Staff and food. Suite was very nice too

Pros. We just returned from a week stay at the Khmer Mansion Hotel and can not fully express the extent of our satisfaction. Staff is very friendly and helpful. By the end of our first day I think the entire staff had approached us individually to introduce themselves. The remainder of our stay we were greeted by name and asked if we required anything more.It was not unusual for the chef to come out of the kitchen and asked if we were satisfied with our meal, which we always were. I have never experienced this level of service before and have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap..
Cons. Noise from bar next door could be heard at night in the open hallway but was not a problem in our room.
Pros. The staff was super friendly and sincerely concerned about our stay. Every time we saw any member of the staff, they were asking about our room, our sleep, our food, everything. And every time we returned to the hotel, they greeted us with a glass of cold water and asked about our day and the places we visited. The hotel felt new and clean, the room was nice, and the location was very convenient and easy to navigate to from Pub Street. We would definitely come back!
Cons. Some construction going on next door; not really a big deal for us, and the hotel can't avoid it. Also the loud club music next door, but it ended around 10pm. At 10pm you should still be out enjoying the nightlife yourself, or at least getting a last-minute massage. The staff actually told about both of these issues when we checked in, and apologized for the inconvenience.
