Pros:Staff was very good.
Cons:There were so many hidden fees. Really should be disclosed on third party website. My initial quote was $168, and now my bill is close to $400. I also think I've been charged a random fee of $135, and can't see where this came from. I also haven't received my $200 deposit back yet. Also paid for insurance on Kayak, then was told I had to buy much more expensive insurance (again) when I got there in person. Really would like someone to contact me about my invoice because I don't understand all the charges!
Airport rentals car desk closed way too early, earlier than all the other companies. Our flight was delayed and we couldn’t get our car at 5:15 pm at LaGuardia because they were already closed.
Cons:Stay away !. This company practices fraudulent approach to get money. Wrongly posted on rental search site when, I was trying to book car from Newark Airport. The Pick up office is at Manhattan not in Newark. When attempted to reach immediately (in 2-3 mins) after booking. Figured out that this company has no customer service number. I can only contact them via email. I booked on Friday and hence emailed on Friday. On Monday, I get email from 2 person. 1 person stating, They can only provide me half the money in return. Second person stating no money can be returned and if needed, I can change the date and hire car from them back again on some other time. How do a customer would trust on company like this to do business?
Cons:I confirmed a change in date for the rental and they did not process / sent the invoice
We were forced into an upgrade, and had to pay for it. we took it not to spoil our itinerary, but will never rent with Sixt again
Cons:You ask for my opinion on my car rental I will tell you ..Sixt behaved in a manner that was fine however my reservation through Kayak nearly stuffed up my holiday because you did not advise me that my particular credit card that had the word debit also written on it would normally have meant that I could not proceed with my car hire. I travelled from Australia specifically to hire a car nice car from New York and drive up the east coast I was told that my particular credit card ordinarily would not have allowed me to proceed with the car hire from that business I basically pleaded and pleaded and they bent the rules for me. they told me that it was remiss of kayak to not insure that I had a credit card without the word debit written on it So in summary Sixt car rentals saved the day because of YOUR error !!!!

Cons:The cleaning crew between cars were all completely massless. All 5 of them. Why? Why are you getting into cars to clean them only to not wear a mask??
The staff at the Morris St location in lower Manhattan are great. Very friendly and helpful
Pros:Kayak ultimately hooked me up with a garbage service. I hated the experience.
Cons:Make sure you can cancel and change dates at least 2-3 days in advance or at least within 24 hours. Felt like I got robbed with the prices. Smh
