Cons:Your chckout person when i picked up the car. I worked with the public for some years at major phone company. I gave excellent friendly smiling customer service. She is very lacking in these features. And she wasn't even busy. You need mystery shoppers for your front line people. Ive been a mystery shopper for many types of service also.

Cons:Booked this car for pickup in Fort Lauderdale through priceline. It was for an off-airport pickup at 4 pm with a middle of the night return at the airport office. Thrifty does not provide transport to the off-site location and taking a taxi would have negated the savings of the booking...Would have considered taking the taxi but the person who answered the phone was working with a customer and didn't have time to verify my car would be available. I opted to take the bus to the tri-rail station and picked up a car at an off-site location near Miami Airport for three days, then got a one-way rental to FLL from MIA. The main issue here is the lack of important information that there is no offsite transport from the airport to Thrifty's offside location and I don't know if that is Thrifty or priceline's fault. I'll use Thrifty again in the future but warn others to be wary of this silly game priceline plays in offering lower prices. Bottom line is how much will this cost me total, not we'll give you a cheap rental if you take a taxi that negates the savings.

Pros:The car was fine, the price was great, and the process of picking up and dropping off was fairly quick and easy.
Cons:The staff at the Ft. Lauderdale airport were very rude.
Cons:The automatic key was lost when I received this car and it was a nuisance to constantly remember to lock it from the inside.

Cons:Would not rent me the car with a debit card. Almost left me stranded at the airport. I did get a car from Avis with my debit card.So after a 3 hr.delay of my flight I lost another hr. trying to get another car. All this was in Ft. Lauderdale.
Cons:Counter person clearly wanted to maximize revenue and didn't care about his customer. I had to argue to get the insurance I wanted and still overpaid because I ended up with one extra I didn't want. What's so hard about only buying third party liability? He didn't explain that the weekly rate would not allow me an early return without the rental being recalculated at today's daily rate. So, when I wanted to end my rental early I was told my $400 estimate would go up to $1,400! I even tried to return it one day early but because of the early return fee it cost the same as keeping it the full time so I kept it. Never will I rent from thrifty again. Never.
