Pros:Check out was very easy and comfortable - no pressure to upgrade although we did do so when we realized how crowded we would have been otherwise. The agent was very courteous and professional. The car was great - comfortable and everything worked well. I know it looks like there were more negatives but there were only those few.
Cons:I think the car was overpriced - 30,000 + miles on it for a 2018 is alot. We were not shown the appropriate way to place the toll charge thing and I know we incurred several tolls because it was not placed correctly. We did not know it would be a problem. When we got in the car we noticed immediately that it was advising that the oil needed to be changed - when we called it to the attention of the agent at the gate we were told we could drive at least 2,000 miles before having trouble. Since there was not another car the size we needed we took a chance and had no problems.
Pros:Everything went smoothly. We were happy with the rental.

Pros:Car worked well. Returning the car was a breeze and employee very friendly and nice.
Cons:Waited in LONG line at Boston Airport to get car. Alamo was the only crowded one. Was attended to by a very rude lady who was actually a National employee covering for Alamo. Have always had free spouse driving whenever we have rented at various companies so assumed it would be free with Alamo, but informed we had to pay $11 per day. After the long wait we finally got a car so took off for the Cape, but the driver's seat was too small for my husband. His right knee was crammed into the dash and his foot was twisted. We were so late and the employee just pointed to the car and mentioned that we would have more room with it than the sedan we had reserved and then left so we took it. After getting all the way out to the Cape I, the spouse, had to do all the driving for 2 weeks. Our relatives rented from Alamo this summer in Minneapolis and in Boston and both times the car they reserved was not there so they were pressured to take a pick up truck. Ridiculous. So Alamo will definitely be our first choice in the future.
Pros:The car was clean and was great quality. The staff is really great!
Cons:The additional hidden fees. How confusing the pickup/dropoff areas are.

Pros:The woman who helped us made sure we liked our car. She went out of her way to be helpful. She was friendly and kind.
Pros:Online reservations provided quick and accurate pickup and drop off paperwork. No surprises.
Cons:Very high charges for damage waiver, more than cost of rental. The cost is not available before reaching the counter. Otherwise the process was smooth. Due to the pandemic there was almost no one renting cars.
Cons:the car should have been gassed up and washed after we checked i. and it was assigned to us we had to wait 25 minutes for the car to be washed and gassed up and bought to us which delayed our trip.
