The car has a roof cargo carrier butt they'd lost the keys. These carriers use a lot of gas and made it difficult to park some places. And we barely had room for luggage in the car.

Pros:Great staff, shuttles, service, vehicles.
Cons:The hotspot didn’t work, and I wasn’t refunded (and I was never asked if I wanted one, I was simply provided one and charged for one).

The fees charged by Avis for the vehicle were extremely high!! Avis in Mexico needs a better system for explaining the fees and why customers are charged an airport fee, rental phone fee ( which was never mentioned and not used by me), The fee for the small scratch on the vehicle was outrageous.

Cons:When we dropped off the car with slightly under 3/4 of a tank, they charged a completely random extra $50 USD for that 1/4 tank of gas and refused to explain or provide a calculation for that fee. Nor would they give us anything in writing regarding the extra $50 charge. We ended up paying 3x more than what we contracted for and could not get a straight answer. Ultimately we had to leave to catch our flight. It felt completely extortionate.

Cons:The sales forced charges to me and take advantage of the fact that I didn’t understand Mexican. He lied to me saying that the phone pack and cooling bag are free and add the charges to my bill without informing me. He also gave me a car that is not full fuel and incurred charges on the fuel as well.

Cons:I have lived in this Country for only 6 months, my credit cards are brand new. I was never told they had a one year old policy for your credit card to accept it. It made a significant part of my trip very complicated and expensive. I WILL NEVER USE YOUR COMPANY!!!
