Pick up and drop off was very slow, line was long. At drop off they made you wait in the same line to return the car as the people waiting in line to pick up the car. Car return took 30 minutes. Also Kayak did not make Car insurance policies clear, and staff at Alamo were very aggressive at pushing their Insurance options. Their arguments with customers about insurance was one of the things slowing down the pickup/drop off line.2.0 Poor

We were given a car that was much, much smaller than what was reserved. We arrived late due to delayed flight but that’s no excuse to give away our car and offer us something half the size of what I booked. Never will rent from Budget again.2.0 Poor

Everything was great but we were given a price of $72.01 for 5 days including taxes. In reality, it costs us over $400 by adding the no fault insurance. There has to be a happy medium where good coverage does not cost an arm and a leg !2.8 Poor

Europcar in Cancun refused to accept my CDW, collusion damage waiver. Even though i had all the correct paperwork and even called the company who handled the coverage. Apparently even though it states they will accept CDW, they will not and they will give you a huge runaround as to why which isn't true, but when you are there, you basically have no choice but to accept whatever they charge for the extra coverage. My rental was $94, they charged an additional $250. This should just be charged up front to avoid all the hassle4.0 Mediocre

Poor experience enough that I will never consider using Europcar again and reconsider Kayak as well.Cons:
The staff lied to me immediately upon entering-which took a half hour. They told me that they had no contract with our insurance companies, American Express and State Farm , and as I result the company policy was that I had to buy full insurance. They also stated that the price quoted on the internet did not bind them as Kayak was only an agent. I have lived in Mexico for years and know that he was in fact lying to me. Ultimately we 'negotiated' a price that was twice what we were promised. I ended up with 3 insurances covering the vehicle and almost wished something happened to it. Everything about Enterprise is great as long as you don't mind they are not located at the airport but just a bit north of the airport along the main highway.Cons:
I had a seemingly very good deal for a Jetta including the mandatory liability insurance, but it turned out when picking up the car that the included insurance only covered the car up to 75,000 MXN and the coverage needs to be 2,500,000 MXN so that raised the rates by $10 per day and then I also had to pay an extra $30 for an extra day although my pickup date/time and return date/time were basically what I originally entered into Expedia. I'm positive that all the agencies are playing these monetary shell games so the only distinguishing factor across agencies is the level of service and how picky they are about the condition of the car when returned.10.0 Wonderful

I accidentally booked a manual transmission, and at the counter the man switched us to an automatic brand new car. Their airport shuttle was ready and waiting both times, they were friendly and very helpful. I didn't feel bamboozled by the insurance situation. It was breezy renting from this Enterprise. This place is a racket. There is no pricing transparency once you enter the doors to pick up your car. The whole process took an hour and a half, we literally walked out at one point because it was such a Scam. The car we received was definitely not cleaned. I will never rent here again.2.0 Poor

The line for picking up a car took over 2 hours, the rental team was taking 15 dollars cash from people to cut the line. I’d understand if it was busy, but there were 6 open kiosks and I was maybe 15th in line, and had to keep watching people get bumped to the front. For drop off, I had to wait 10+ minutes for I’m not even sure what- I think an additional car wellness check? Overall, this was an awful experience, and I’m not someone who complains about things ever. Have a great dayDollar

Our family of 7 waited outside during this entire time and finally when we went to walk away they made headroom of not totally taking us over for the week. The staff was friendly but they always try to sell something that i did not ask for and I do not need, even after you decline the offer the keep pushing things like hotes, packages and the car insurance which is 3x the price of the rental car.Cons:

I reserved a minivan for our family of 6 traveling together. When we arrived at the Thrifty counter, they told me they didn’t have a minivan for me. I said I made a reservation, he told me that since I didn’t prepay for the rental(which I didn’t know was an option) they didn’t have one for me to rent. We then had to scramble and try to find new transportation to/from the airport to our hotel. I will never rent through this website or Thrifty again9.2 Wonderful

The cars are Filthy inside out. they don't take time to clean them, i had to change 3 cars to finally agree on one. the first one had a bold tires, the second one had scratches all over the car but you can't determine the damages as the body is dirty. the last one was OK with a bad tire sensor that kept displaying an error every time you start the car plus a change oil message that kept prompting. If i have time i would report them to the BBB. Not worth the money i paid. VERY disappointing that kayak list them on their website. i use to trust kayak!3 locations in Cancún

I arrived at the airport at 7:30pm and called for a shuttle. I called twice with no answer. I took a taxi out an couldn't find the location. I finally got through and the person on the phone said they closed at 5. On my printed out paper, it says pick up till 9pm. I had to make a last minute booking with another company at the airport and paid a 65$ taxi fee for the back and forth. The money I would have saved was not worth this head ache. I am super disappointed the pick up times weren't clearly indicated and I would have arranged myself accordingly. I think kayak should make a better effort in providing better, reliable companies considering their name is associated with them.8.0 Very good

The customer service person had no explanation and offered no help other then to go back online and try again. When I did this I was told there were no cars available. Shuttle from airport doesn’t arrive. I called multiple times. No answer, no response to voicemail. Took taxi instead. Hard to find location which is in the middle of nowhere, barely lit and marked Tuff instead of ACO. Got to counter at 7:02 and was told they close at 7 so wouldn’t help me. Also if you are an hour late your entire contract is canceled anyway. So they would not have helped me regardless due to the shuttle bus issue. I was stranded with my toddler and no car. Staff would not even call me a taxi. Thank goodness Lyft was nearby. Terrible staff, terrible service, terrible operation. I wasted $50+ in cab fare thanks to ACO. BEWARE.8.4 Very good
