Pros. Bed was decent...it was a place to sleep (after we went & bought pillows). Room was decent considering... You get what you pay for.
Cons. NO ELEVATOR!!! Stairwell smelled like cigarettes...carpet didn’t look like it had been cleaned in 10+ years. We had to climb stair several times a day with a 2 year old! Our shower had not been cleaned. There was a hole in the wall of our room. The room smelled like mildew. We found a critter skeleton on our window sill.
Pros. Sufficient
Pros. The room itself was comfortable - large size, bed was cozy, TV had great channels. Location was good (close to freeway and most attractions). Price was good.
Cons. The receptionist was rude - I walked in to ask about check in time and she was having a conversation over the counter with another employee and looked at me like I was interrupting a very personal conversation and gave me a nasty response. The stairway was dirty. Our room keys deactivated on our 2nd day there. Breakfast choices were crummy.
Pros. SOME of the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the building was in the perfect place. It wasn't crowded, it was quiet.
Cons. The rest of the staff had nasty attitudes. They had BEDBUGS. Even though they had the protective sheets on it still didn't work. The cards stopped working every day we were there. One employee told us because they are old and cheap. They ran out of coffee creamer so we had to go next door to waffle house and get a coffee. The whole place just stunk. When we came into the room it was still dirty. Trash in the can, stuff all over the wall in the bathroom and bedroom. Bathroom still had hand prints on the mirror and hair in the tub. If I could have gotten my money back I would have. We discussed many times just going to get a new room elsewhere..
Pros. The staff at the hotel were SUPER friendly. The pool was nice, and the rooms were simple. nothing fancy but the location was AMAZING. It's only a 5 minute drive to rock city, the incline and ruby falls. That alone make the value worth it.
Cons. This is a bargain hotel so don't expect anything great from the rooms. The walls are thin, but you get your own fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Our coffee maker didn't work. the only real downside to the room that we noticed was that there weren't any free power outlets. And they were hard to find. We ended up plugging in our phones in the bathroom.
