Pros:Nothing. Car was reserved and they unilaterally cancelled.
Cons:Actually honor the reservation.
Pros:Good: the staff was very helpful. The vehicle ran well. Drop off process was easy & quick. The shuttle drivers were helpful and courteous. The lady at the airport when we first arrived was very nice and very helpful
Cons:NOT GOOD: They had the wrong vehicle for us. We specifically asked for a Jeep during the initial phone call rental arrangements, and were told that they would have one of three models available with no problem. The initial vehicle had obviously low air pressure in the front tires, and they have no ability to add air, or even check the air pressure, at the facility. The worst was the unexpected pricing. I will be filing a dispute claim with Alamo today because of the excessive charges that built up throughout the rental process, resulting in over $525.00 for a 4 day rental of a small Jeep. Unacceptable.
Pros:Nice staff, easy to drop off and pick up.
Cons:The price quoted was not what I ended up paying. I ended up paying almost double due to having to purchase an insurance required by Mexican law on top of the coverage I already had. Would be nice to know this ahead of time. Also selection of cars could be be updated, (manual windows and no navigation system)
Cons:I reserved a car for a one week. At the airport, I was told there was no car. I had to rent a car from Hertz.
Cons:Despite our advance, confirmed reservation, they did not have a car for us and offered no solution or explanation except that they were "overbooked" and our reservation would not be honored. Even a call to the central office produced no result.
Pros:Very Friendly staff, clean car.
Cons:Prices way higher than america. Car was not in good shape in the outside. Too expensive for what you actually get.
Cons:We were met at the counter with a "mandatory" $18 USD per day insurance fee despite having checked that everything was covered either by my auto insurance or credit card company. We were told there was no way to decline this additional coverage. Conveniently we were then escorted out to a representative of Vida who offered to give us $200 USD to attend a 60-90 minute "resort tour" which happened to equal the amount of the additional insurance. The 60-90 minute tour turned into a 3+ hour time share presentation with multiple levels of managers to escape. It wasted 1/2 a day of our vacation. Thanks Alamo for allowing predatory tactics on your property.
Cons:I cancelled this refundable reservation and they still charged me.
Cons:All of the fee's once I got there. No once mentioned all of these taxes and the insurance offerings were almost double they're in the states.
Pros:Well nothing from their end.
Cons:Customer rep was not helpful, she gave me higher insurance rates and then did not give me the car which I was looking for. I walked to the next car rental “Budget” and they were able to give me better deal with lower price
