Cons:it was really frustrated. When I got there they told me they do not have any car for me. The worst experience ever.
Pros:It was nice car it was comfortable.
Cons:The price at first was ridiculously cheap online like $5.00 for 5 days, when we got there at the rental the price skyrocketed like $70.00 a day they informed us we should get insurance because the car might be stolen or if it was scratched by someone. With much negotiating we got the car reduced to a somewhat reasonable price of $39 a day. Then when you think you are getting your car you get someone who tries to convince you to go to a timeshare to get your car paid in full. It was stressful but we had a nice trip and the car worked out to be a good car. We didn't do the timeshare from past experience so it cost us near $300 which is a fair deal.
Cons:I got different car than I requested. It was twice the price as it has been told on the internet. Never again!
Pros:Quoted $380 upon arrival, told must pay at least $750. Lady forced us to go to time share presentation to get the rate down to $450. Waste of time, 4 hours. Stay away!

Cons:When I arrived to Cancun airport I was notified by the man in charge of my rental that the company was "out of cars" I couldn't understand how my FULLY PAID RESERVATION was basically non existent... my experience was terrible, especially since I was unable to reach anyone at their office. I had to rent a car through firefly (hertz) which cost me three times as much as my original rental. NEVER AGAIN
Pros:The car was adequate and got us where we needed to go. Drop off was simple.
Cons:The price quoted on Kayak was completely worthless because you HAVE to purchase insurance. You have two options with them. Buy the cheap insurance (around $17 a day) and they make you pay a $3500 deposit, or go with the more expensive insurance for around $58 a day. So you're basically stuck paying for the more expensive insurance and pay over 20 times what you were quoted on Kayak. Never dealt with a rental car company this sketchy.
Pros:Car was clean, comfort, and as we expected.
Cons:We rented a car over the Christmas/New Year holiday season so the car pick-up and drop-off was a lengthy process due to the number of people renting cars and limited staff. Also this isn't specific to Dollar, but a general tip is to thoroughly look the car over at the time of pick-up. We noticed they are very picky about noting every tiny little thing upon drop-off.
